There a number of reviews that make a point of saying how
helpful and friendly the owners and staff at this bed and breakfast are. Some
guests have described them as caring, and that they seemed to genuinely be
interested in the guests, even going to the effort of making sure they are on
first-name terms with everybody.
Car parking is free
There is loads of car parking space at this hotel, and best of all - it is free! Falmouth is a fairly compact town, so once you have parked on arrival you can easily leave your car for the duration of your stay if you plan to remain within the town.
Very close to local amenities
This hotel is very well located. It is less than ten minutes
from the popular harbour area, and just minutes from the beach, while in the
opposite direction the charming town centre is a joy to explore.
No lift but lots of stairs
Lots of guests have commented on the fact that this hotel has no lift, despite the fact that the accommodation is spread over several floors. This is definitely not a place to stay if you have mobility problems.
Some bathrooms quite snug
The en-suite bathrooms have been described as being on the
small side. Some guests feel slightly uncomfortable using the shower, for
example, so if having lots of space is important to you this is something worth
bearing in mind.
Décor a little bit tired
Though not a massive negative, it is clear from the reviews that the décor at this hotel has seen better days. Some guests have suggested that the hotel would benefit from a lick of paint, though it is worth pointing out that the facilities on offer do get a general thumbs up.
