Hotel The George (South Molton, United Kingdom)

The rooms at this hotel are large enough that you'll feel comfortable sitting in and watching a bit of TV in the evening. They are quite airy too, so there's no damp musty smell that you find in some old inns such as this one.

The food on the menu is very well prepared, and the staff are quite knowledgeable about each of the dishes. Guests have said that the breakfast is super and that if you order the full English, you may not have to eat again until dinner time.

This hotel is wonderfully located in the centre of the town with the market square right on your doorstep. It's a quaint little town with plenty of things to see and do all within easy walking distance.

This hotel is quite old, and there were some obvious signs of wear and tear which is why some refurbishment work was carried out. Unfortunately, the décor is a bit odd with too many things that have a cheap flat-pack feel to them.

It seems that the management of this hotel tries to save a few pounds by not turning on all the heating. This is fine, but when guests complain of a cold restaurant, you know you're doing things wrong. Some guests also complained of freezing rooms.
