The hotel has a mix of design styles which creates a one of a kind look that travellers say adds a lot of charm. The hotel is situated in a heritage building giving the outside a very traditional appearance, but the hotel enlisted some famous interior designers who created a look that is a mix of modern Singapore and traditional French design.

Guests rave about the rooftop pool and bar at the hotel which they say is a very cool place to hangout at. You can grab a drink at the bar and then spend the afternoon or evening swimming and taking in all Singapore has to offer.

Singapore is known for its unique hawker food stalls and a number of these are within walking distance of the property. These include Lau Pa Sat which is right next to the property.

The property prides itself on its boutique look and feel but for a number of visitors, this term was simply code for small accommodations. While nicely decorated, the rooms were a bit too tiny for some guests staying there.

The ‘too cool for you staff' was a bit of a turnoff for some visitors who state that the employees could be more attentive in their dealings with you and whatever issues or needs you might have.

The hotel's on-site restaurant, Xperience, host the hotel's breakfast service in the morning. A few guests point out that the facility can feel a bit cramped during the morning while a couple of other travellers note that the food offered is lacking a bit of diversity.
