St. George's Lodge is on the grounds of Bisley Shooting Centre, which is located in Brookwood, in Surrey, England. Each of the hotel's six rooms is equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, as well as a refrigerator. Television service and free Wi-Fi service are also available in the rooms, which each have en-suite bathrooms. The bathrooms have both showers and bathtubs. Complementary toiletries are provided. Many guests commented that they like the secluded location of the hotel, but they were also impressed by the manned security gate. So, when you stay you can expect to feel secure, despite the out of the way location.
Several guests were thrilled by the size of the rooms, as well as the fact that they each have kettles, refrigerators, and other useful items. Many of them also mentioned that the beds are large and comfortable. The rooms are also equipped with plenty of seating. You're sure to have a comfortable stay.
Guests all love the fact that the showers in the en-suite bathrooms are large and powerful. The water is hot, and the water pressure is consistently excellent. You won't have to worry about getting a cold shower when you stay there.
Many guests were upset that the area is not well marked or well-lit at night. Several of them said that they had a very difficult time finding it and had to call to get extra directions. Many guests also said that their GPS units didn't provide accurate navigation information about how to find the hotel.
Many guests said that they were upset about how dirty the bathrooms were during their stay. Rust, mould, hairs in the shower, and cracked tiles were common complaints.
When you stay at this hotel, you should keep in mind that the walls are very thin. You're likely to hear every little noise. Also, if you tend to sleep late in the morning, you might get woken up early by the activity at the on-site shooting range.
