The A10 Sol de Alcudia is a bright and newly renovated apartment hotel just 500 yards from trendy Alcudia Beach. Standard rooms and apartments with kitchens are both available. All have their own balcony, allowing you to enjoy the fine weather, and air conditioning for when that fine weather gets a little too fine. The main attraction during the day is undoubtedly the pool terrace, with separate kiddie’s pool. Reception is open 24 hours, and Wi-Fi is available throughout. The poolside snack bar serves breakfast, and light snacks for the rest of the day – great view included. For dinner, the dining experience moves inside to the elegant buffet restaurant, where the chefs whip up Mediterranean delicacies. While the main attractions are the hotel pool terrace, and the nearby beach, the A10 Sol de Alcudia is 1.5 miles’ from Alcudia’s charming old town with its intimate cafes and medieval architecture.

The hotel puts on a lot of activities and entertainment for children, but it teenager teenagers who seem especially happy as they have a great time at the resort, day and night. They are usually hanging around the pool during the day, and the teenage disco at night.
The recent renovations have left the hotel looking very sleek and trendy, giving guests a feel of almost being in a new resort.
Again and again guest comment on the exceptional level of cleanliness, in both the rooms and public areas.
Many guests felt that it was a bit much charging extra for Wi-Fi. While it obviously costs money to supply this service the feeling was that the trend is overwhelmingly for hotels and resorts to simply include this in the price of the room.
The hotel puts on entertainment around the pool terrace during the season. Several guests staying in pool facing rooms found the constant noise a bit disturbing. The nightclub also stays open very late and can cause noise issues. This is all mainly focussed on the pool area, so guests can consider requesting a room facing away from the pool.
Unfortunately, like many other resorts, the Sol de Alcudia seems to overbook rooms in high season. The predictable result is that guests are shifted from room to room, or more usually to other properties in Alcudia. Suffice to say, this does not result in a favourable impression.
