Ideally situated in the vibrant heart of Sitges on the pedestrianised and colourful San Pedro Street, Resort Sitges Apartment offers contemporary, soundproofed accommodations just a minute’s walk from the beach.
Each air-conditioned apartment includes a spacious bathroom and kitchenette/dining area with fridge, microwave, washing machine and Nespresso coffee maker. All rooms are non-smoking and include a private or shared terrace.
Amenities at Resort Sitges Apartment include complimentary Wi-Fi and free parking nearby. In addition, an airport shuttle service is available as is bicycle rental, luggage storage and communal sun terrace.
In-house eating options are limited to a continental breakfast buffet purveyed each morning, however, the surrounding streets are replete with authentic restaurants, cool cafes, bustling markets and euro-saving supermarkets.
From here, the train station is 0.2 miles and the Marina is a mile. Great golf is two miles away at Terramar, while the wine cellars of Güell are five miles.
The complex has a roof terrace with pool, and it came as no surprise that this was the feature that guests most appreciated during their stay. It didn’t really matter whether they swam or not, most guests really liked both the atmosphere and view up there.
Clean and modern complex
Many guests pointed out that the apartments are in what looks like a new complex which was very well maintained; with several guests adding that the apartments themselves were spotlessly clean when they checked in.
Very comfortable beds
Considering that there were many comments praising the comfort of the beds and very few complaints, it seems that the bed buyers here have managed to select a mattress with broad appeal – a surprisingly difficult task.
Located quite far from the centre of town
Quite a number of guests commented on the distance from the complex to the centre of Sitges. It was described as quite a walk, at least 20 minutes by most guests’ estimate. Many did not really feel it was within reasonable walking distance.
No toilet paper supplied
The accommodation consists of studio and larger
apartments, rather than standard hotel rooms, so guests were expecting to have
to buy their own supplies like groceries. But a number of guests commented that
the staff did not even leave a roll of toilet paper or two, so to at least tide
them over before heading out to the supermarket. They found this to be very mean,
to put it mildly
Serviced very infrequently
Guests mentioned that the apartments really weren’t serviced regularly, with guests staying as long as a week saying that not even their towels were changed in that period.
