Positive Reviews
positive:
Cosy and stylish rooms that have the basics.
The rooms are comfortable enough for sleep, storing your bags, and access to cooking facilities. It's a great choice for backpackers, contract workers, and artists who have a gig in the area. Simple yet stylish, the accommodations give you what you need, at decent prices.
positive:
Attentive owner makes you feel very welcomed.
The owner gives every guest attention, and makes sure that everyone is having a satisfactory stay, and leaves happy and wanting to return. Staff are just as welcoming, with every question answered and every request tended to. You feel genuinely valued to be staying there.
positive:
Good location for seeing a lot of local sights.
Rent a Room Copenhagen is ideally located to be a base for sightseeing. Trains and buses are nearby, and there's plenty to check out on foot. You can see quite a bit of the local culture, and experience both the day to day running of the city to the hottest nightspots, when staying here.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Shared bathrooms may not be for everyone.
Anyone reserving a room here should be familiar or at the very least comfortable, with shared facilities, but apparently not so. Be prepared for the possibilities of fellow guests not cleaning up after themselves or being impatient with common use.
negative:
Thin walls and outside noise means spotty sleep.
Without ear plugs, you're likely to have a disruptive sleep. Almost every sound echoes through the thin floors and walls, so you'll hear conversations, doors, walking, and whatever else happens at loud volumes. The roadside is pretty busy, so if you need the window open, you'll also hear the traffic noise.
negative:
Wi-Fi signal is inconsistent if not non-existent.
This is another hotel where you can't rely on steady Wi-Fi signals. In some instances, it doesn't even register.
