Unusually for a town centre hotel, the bar prices are very reasonable. This is sensible, though, because of the prices and special offers that are available within walking distance of the hotel. If you can’t beat them!…
Very friendly and accommodating; it’s this sort of attitude that makes all the difference between an OKish and a brilliant stay.
Experienced staff help to ensure that everything goes like clockwork. Food is tip-top and if staying over, the rooms are spacious and contain everything you could want.
It’s slow, frustrating and negates all the advantages of having it in the first place. It is an absolute essential when attracting business people to a town centre hotel, near Robin Hood Airport. On this occasion, though, they’re way off target!
Shower pressure is poor and water cold. Toilets don’t flush properly. A one off maybe but when they fail to replenish the beverage facilities with milk and sugar, you begin to wonder if it’s part of a more general problem.
There is a mirror in the bathroom but not in the bedroom. Even ‘the fairest of them all’ needs easy access to a mirror!
