Mayorazgo is a theme hotel with a wide variety of rooms decorated in the Madrilenian style. Perfectly located in the heart of the city, this hotel features a piano in the lobby and free Wi-Fi for all guests.

Mayorazgo is a five-minute walk from Lope de Vega Theatre and Plaza de Espana. The Royal Palace is a fifteen-minute walk.
If you are looking to stay right in the heart of Madrid, then look no further. This hotel is just steps away from all the action with the Royal Palace being the furthest you’ll have to trek and that’s just fifteen minutes of walking.
The rooms are so individual and really do a great job of reminding you that you are in Madrid. The wall murals are tasteful and if you get a family room the kids will love the pictures on the walls. A really memorable stay awaits you at this hotel.
Lovely staff take good care of you.
For first time visitors to Madrid, this hotel is a real find. The staff are so helpful and know all the shortcuts around the city. They’ll even let you know when is the best time to visit the sights to avoid the crowds.
Poor Wi-Fi in rooms.
The Wi-Fi signal is great in the lobby but very poor in the rooms which is not ideal. If you rely on the internet for work, you may find yourself down in the lobby more often than not. This isn’t the best situation for business travellers.
No air-con unless it’s summer.
This may be acceptable for those that are used to the local climate but for many visitors the heat can be unbearable if the air-con is not turned on. And as it’s a city centre hotel, you can’t really open the windows at night.
Thin walls not good for sleeping.
If you have noisy neighbours, then you may have a restless night in this hotel. The walls are quite thin meaning that you can hear practically everything that is being said next door. Not great considering the price you pay.
