La Santa María is definitely underrated. It doesn’t even deserve all of the terrible reviews it got. It will surely exceed your expectation. It is just one of the best places to stay at when in Sitges. You get to feel the fresh ocean breeze each day and wake up to spectacular views of the majestic sea.
There are many other dishes served in the hotel’s restaurant but the seafood is the best. You can have fish, oysters, crabs, and other. All of them are cooked to perfection. An extensive wine list is also available for you. In addition, a rare and exquisite Irish coffee awaits you.
Most probably, the hotel offers one of the most affordable prices in Sitges. The rooms are quite big for the hotel standards in the place. It definitely feels that you get more than what you pay for. Moreover, the difference between the room prices is not so high. Thus, you are advised to book the rooms with balconies facing the sea.
You are advised to check the balcony of your room upon arrival. If you encounter bird waste, notify the staff to clean them. Better yet, you can ask to be transferred to another room.
