Fantastic Location

The location of the hotel is wonderful; you can enjoy a guided walking tour where your guide will take you to the different markets and parts of the island. The ocean views are stunning, especially from the rooftop pool. Guests enjoy the speedboat ride to and from the airport.

Delicious food

The restaurants at this hotel offer so much delicious food. Guests really enjoy the sushi at the Azur Restaurant. All of the food is fresh and tasty and the room service menu has many options. You can also enjoy the fresh fruit and meats available at the local markets.

Great gym facilities

The gym at the Hotel Jen Male' is welcoming and a great addition to your holiday, it is well-equipped with a wide variety of equipment available, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The gym has great views of the ocean which make working out a pleasure.

No alcohol

Although most guests reported that they had a wonderful stay, some guests were shocked to find out the there are no alcoholic beverages available at this hotel. It is illegal to serve alcohol in Male and so the only place you can enjoy an alcoholic beverage is at the airport, which you need to take a ferry to.

Small room

Some guests have reported that their room was much smaller than what the website portrayed it to be. Some guests also commented on the fact that some of the rooms have a slightly mouldy and undesirable smell and shape to them.

Some guests have reported that you are left to carry your own luggage to your room and that you have to wait a long time for anything that you ask for. The reception staff sometimes comes across as being rude and unfriendly.
