Hotel Jardim Do Vau (Portimâo, Portugal)

The Jardim Do Vau apartment complex is located in very close proximity to large and scenic beach and guests are treated to sea views from their rooms and from the pool area. Praia de Rocha is a twenty-minute walk from the complex and guests can enjoy the wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants on offer in the popular town centre. There are also several public transport links and taxis that can take guests to various popular destinations in a relatively short amount of time.

The numerous facilities on-site ensure that guests will be hard pressed to be short of activities; the spa offers numerous different services such as massages and beauty treatments and guests can chose between a heated indoor pool and the relaxing outdoor pool that offers views of the beach. An on-site cocktail bar serves a wide variety of high quality drinks and the area around the outdoor pool is perfect for relaxing in the sun.

The majority of guests found the staff to be incredibly friendly and welcoming. All team members, from those manning the reception desk to the bar staff, are engaging and personable.

While the Wi-Fi is free, it is only available in public areas and some guests would have enjoyed being able to use it in their apartments.

The food served at the Jardim Do Vau was found to be somewhat bland and boring by some guests who would have liked more variety than the buffet-fare they were treated to however, guests have noted that there are several restaurants in the area surrounding the hotel.

Aside from the comments above, there are few unanimous complaints and the majority of reviews for this accommodation are very positive.
