Hotel Hycroft Suites (Vancouver, Canada)

This hotel is located in a lovely neighbourhood south of downtown Vancouver, and is ideal for long-term stays. Guests say it's easy to get around the city either on foot or by public transport, and downtown is only two miles away. Just a few minutes from the building, you will find a lovely park and the popular Granville Street, filled with unique shopping and fantastic dining. There is also a nice grocery store two blocks away, and Granville Public Market is within walking distance as well.

Guests were very impressed with the accommodations provided here. The suites and townhomes are spacious, well-kept, and comfortable. All the facilities, including the kitchen, are well equipped. The laundry facilities are especially handy for long-term stays. Many visitors said it “felt like home”. It's an ideal spot for large groups or families.

Expect a warm welcome from the hosts, even if they're not there to greet you personally. Guests were pleasantly surprised that the owners provided them with clear instructions about the apartment, and left a lot of useful information about the city.

Some of the rooms are a bit dark, especially those that are partly on the basement floor. Since natural light is lacking, guests suggested that in-room lighting could be improved.

Traffic noise can be an issue in some of the rooms. In addition, the lower floor rooms also have poor soundproofing from the upstairs suites.

There are no lifts on the property, and steps are required to access even the lowest floor rooms.
