Many air travellers pick the hotel for its location within about three minutes of the airport, and the convenient, complimentary shuttle which runs 24/7. The location is also reasonably convenient for drivers, with easy access to to Deerfoot Trail - Highway No.2.  Most find the drive into Calgary city centre to be straightforward, too.

The suites are widely described as very clean, comfortable, and quiet, with all the amenities necessary for an extended stay or family travel. Some rooms offer a fine view of the mountains, or else of planes landing and taking off. The public spaces are also widely described as inviting and well maintained,

Guests note that beyond the Tim Horton's right across the road. there is very little to do, see, or eat within walking distance, and the neighbourhood is not well serviced by public transportation.

Some pet owners find the pet fee very high, particularly for a one-night stay. Others have been annoyed by booking or billing errors, resulting in additional charges.
