Staff here are genuinely kind and conscientious. They will do their utmost to ensure that you have a really enjoyable stay and absolutely nothing will prove too much trouble for them. If you have a problem, just ask.
The food here is marvellous, both in the evenings and mornings. It is cooked to order, plentiful, tasty and very well presented. The free English breakfast is particularly good.
While Hare and Hounds offers free Wi-Fi, it isn't always easy to connect to it. This is especially noticeable if you are in one of the rooms in an outside building. If you are able to access the internet, you'll find that it's quite slow. It shouldn't be
The food, while really tasty, is perhaps priced a little steeply. The same can be said of the drinks.
A few of the guestrooms suffer from external sounds, whether they come from the traffic noise or from the other guests in the same building going in and out.
