Well located for city visit
This hostel is based in a great location on a quiet tree-lined street that still offers easy access to the tourist areas of the city. The area is within walking distance of many points of interest as well as having excellent public transport links which make exploring Budapest a breeze.
Friendly, attentive staff
Guests have found the staff to be friendly and helpful, in particular those on reception who are available twenty-four hours a day and have great knowledge of the local area.
Room for the night and not much more
It is worth being aware that this is a very basic option and that the rooms do not include televisions or air conditioning which may not be to everyone's liking. A common complaint is that the Wi-Fi only works in the lobby so if you need Internet access this may not be the best choice for you.
Could be more comfortable
Guests feel that this hostel lacks atmosphere and several of the rooms could do with renovation as they are small with dated and occasionally broken furniture. A recurring issue is that guests have found the mattresses to be a little too hard.
Extra clean needed
The cleanliness of the property could be improved upon according to previous guests. Attention to detail seems to be the main problem, as guests feel that the rooms and linens need more of a deep clean.
