Hotel Danmark by Brøchner Hotels (Copenhagen, Denmark)

The main advantage of this hotel is the location, location, location. All of Copenhagen's attractions are right out the doorstep. It's easy to take a tour bus or train, shop, or go sightseeing.

Hotel guests are impressed with the extra touches at Danmark, such as the complimentary glass of wine at Wine Hour, the organic breakfast, and free to-go coffee in the morning.

Guests say that the water pressure in the showers is nice and strong.

Carpets are old and need to be replaced. Guests have reported that the safes in the hotel do not work. The lift fits about four people, but there are times when it is out of order. Travellers also report issues with the air conditioning.

Rooms are cosy and small, a fact that the hotel freely admits. Bathrooms, though, are so small they have been called “ridiculous” and “bizarre” by some travellers. Not everyone is fussed, but those who are see this as a big issue.

Street facing rooms not only get traffic noise from the city, but there is a large clock that might keep you up in the night. If a light sleeper, rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter.
