Previous guests rate the standard of the rooms highly, with many particularly appreciative of the city views. The beds are often described as comfortable, so it seems that an excellent night's sleep is on the cards. Plus, the selection of amenities is well thought-out and appears to cater to every need.
With many Newcastle attractions within walking distance, it should come as little surprise that guests tend to like the location of the hotel. It's handy for various public transport options too, as well as offering a convenient setting near some of the city's best dining spots.
While taking nothing away from the sense of luxury offered by the hotel's leisure facilities, several guests do mention that they found the pool, sauna and fitness centre were on the small side. Depending on how busy the hotel is, it's possible that these facilities may feel crowded.
A small number of guests are displeased by the hotel's lack of free parking spaces. You will need to use a public facility nearby, the daily charge for which a few guests found to be fairly high.
This hotel is a relatively new establishment and, although there are no serious problems, it does seem that there are some teething problems. Fire alarms seem to go off quite regularly and there appears to be confusion about whether guests should pay for room service at the time of ordering or at check-out.
