Staff members at St. George are fantastic. Guests reported receiving a warm welcome upon arrival and dealing with staff who had no problem going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and enjoyment. The staff is always available, they are attentive to the individual needs of guests and the entertainment staff is fun, friendly and interactive.
Guests reported that the guest rooms are cleaned to a very high standard and the furnishings and beds are comfortable. Also reported was scenic views from the rooms, lots of extra toiletries and soundproof walls.
The food available at this hotel is of high quality with plenty of delicious, wholesome well-prepared options to choose from including vegetarian options. Guests also reported that the food varied every day.
Guests reported that there is a lot of noise around the hotel sometimes and it comes from several sources including a nearby nightclub that features very loud music and patrons who cheer and yell very loudly. The sound of people walking and talking in the corridors and nearby rooms can also be heard clearly.
The guest rooms at St. George are dated with old-fashioned decor and furnishings. Guests also reported that the beds are hard and uncomfortable, the Wi-Fi doesn't work, there is no air conditioning and there is no water pressure in the showers.
Guests reported that some staff members are unfriendly and only speak with guests when they have to. Also reported was staff who do not make any attempt to resolve issues, cleaning staff who come into rooms without knocking first, restaurant staff who are slow to serve guests and staff who are rarely around when needed.
