Boasting 11 slides plus multiple pools, this resort was popular with young families. Parents reported that children and teenagers were kept endlessly entertained by the water park at the heart of the hotel complex. However, adults were pleased to find that – with a selection of spas, saunas and treatment rooms – their needs were well-catered for too.
This resort serves as a base for families on holiday throughout the summer months, but it has also proved to be very popular with day trippers from Budapest looking for a short break from the big city. To this end – no matter which way they were going – guests found the property’s shuttle service to be extremely handy in terms of connecting central Budapest with this resort.
Guests reported that the rooms here are on the spacious side. This was a plus, especially for larger groups.
Returning guests were unhappy to find that, overall, the quality of the food here has diminished in comparison to previous visits.
There were consistent reports regarding the closures of slides and water attractions, something that did impact the visits of many guests. Also, this property enforces rigid height restrictions on a number of slides. This was something that caught many guests with smaller children – who were left unable to ride certain slides – completely off-guard.
While not inefficient or incompetent, guests felt that staff were rigid and unsmiling and didn’t always take the time to thoroughly explain the property’s policies. Also, many would have liked to have seen an increase in the frequency of the shuttle service to and from central Budapest.
