Positive Reviews

Small hotel means big service

The couple who owns this B&B goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and like one of the family from the moment you walk in. They are happy to point you in the direction of restaurants, shops and the many popular sights that populate this area and can also help in booking day tours for you.

The guest rooms are spotlessly clean

The guest rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean and provide all the comforts of home. Comfortable beds are a pleasure to sleep in and the addition of Baylis and Harding toiletries make you feel pampered.

A good location

You can walk to a few restaurants and a park from the B&B. Galway city centre is just 10 minutes by car and there you’ll find lots of restaurants, bars, local shops and entertainment venues as well as most of the must-see tourist destinations in the area. The bus stop is also close at hand.

Negative Reviews

Things can get noisy

This property faces a main road and therefore the traffic noise could keep you awake at night. In addition, the walls are rather thin and you can often hear the goings on in the rooms that are beside and above you.

Some rooms and bathrooms are small

Some of the rooms and bathrooms are on the small side which could be problematic for those who need extra room to manoeuvre.

There’s no lift

There is no lift at this B&B and the stairs to the upper levels are on the steep side. This could be problematic for those with mobility issues, small children or lots of luggage in tow.
