YHA Patterdale is a Scandinavian style hostel, close to Ullswater and ideal for walkers, cyclists, campers, boating enthusiasts and tourists. Bedding is provided and private rooms are available here. Showers and toilets are inside the property and dormitories and other rooms have access to the shared bathroom facilities. The car park is conveniently close by. There is a luggage store, laundry and self catering kitchen. YHA Patterdale is also popular with campers who also have use of the facilities. A great breakfast leaves guests eager to start the day and later, the Supper Club Menu offers a substantial three course meal. Drinks are also available. Many Lake District attractions include Aira Force Waterfalls, trips on the Ullswater Steamers - twenty minutes walk away- mountain and rock climbing courses at Highpoint and wander lonely as a cloud to the ‘local’; The White Lion, where Wordsworth himself enjoyed a drink or two!
