Positive Reviews

positive:

Good Value For Money

The hostel is modern, hip, clean, and quiet. Parking is available, but yet it's near all the amenities in Penrith. If you enjoy the outdoors, this hostel is the place for you. You will find facilities to dry wet kit and the reception is full of information about where to go sightseeing, places to walk, and cycling routes. Room, bathroom, and self-catering are fantastic. There is a television, maps, guidebooks, and showers. It's basically everything you need to be comfortable in a hostel.

positive:

Easy To Get Around

There is a huge supermarket that's easy to get to. Shops and the centre of town are right at the base of the hill. The hostel is near the train station, buses, and shopping. It's conveniently in the centre of town but hidden in an attractive vicinity.

positive:

Great For Cyclist

Biking facilities at the hostel are great. There's a storage and workshop with a choice of basic spare parts for purchasing. If you are doing the C2C bike route, the hostel is a convenient stop over. There are a number of bike tools and track pumps available as well. Any bike maintenance you might need is obtainable.

Negative Reviews

negative:

More Storage For Food

Extra storage for food would be a great plus. Since the kitchen is communal and just about everyone uses it, more storage would be practical as it seems to be constantly full.

negative:

Wi-Fi Could Be Better

The Wi-Fi is not horrible, but it could be better.

negative:

Better Communal Rooms

The communal area could be larger with better seating; however, the area is not extremely uncomfortable either.
