Enjoyable on-site dining
Previous guests have rated the quality of dining at Harolds Hotel highly, commenting on the great spread laid out for the breakfast buffet at H-Cafe and the delicious Asian Fusion dishes served in the Highlights Lounge.
Great value for money
Many guests are of the opinion that they have enjoyed value for money here. The rooms certainly appear to be a great standard for the price you'll pay. Guests also appreciate the free parking and Internet, as well as finding the cost of dining reasonable.
Some rooms are noisy
Although many guests specifically mention that they found their room was quiet, you may not fare so well if you are allocated a room near the Highlights Lounge. The live music played on Friday and Saturday evenings is loud and goes on until late.
Wi-Fi could be better
Of all the facilities at this hotel, Wi-Fi probably attracts the most negative feedback. A number of guests report being unable to get online in their room, having to trek down to the lobby when they needed a connection. Others could get online but found the speed slow.
More fruit at breakfast
While guests tend to enjoy breakfast here and comment favourably on the quality and choice of food available, some do mention that a little more fresh fruit would be welcome. Some guests question the lack of mangoes considering the hotel's location in Cebu City.
