With a bus stop right outside the door; easy access to the train station and the seafront no more than a block away; getting around the resort (as well as getting to and from it) is a breeze.

The Parasol's owners really are busy little beavers, scurrying around throughout the day and night to ensure all their guests' wants and needs are fully met. Great efforts here.

As much cereal and fruit juice as you can handle and a decent selection of hot breakfast options all cooked to order – what more could you want from your morning meal? Lovely!

...So you'd better hope and pray that you don't get allocated a room next to some noisy neighbours. You may want to bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper – just in case...

The owners have chosen to decorate the hotel's compact accommodations with all manner of plants, cushions and other bits-and-bobs. Whilst this does engender some character, it really only succeeds in making the space as a whole feel smaller than it already is. Time for a spot of de-cluttering perhaps?

Many guests have commented on how the en-suite showers in some rooms struggle to maintain an even temperature. Definitely something to be aware of in advance.
