Guests love the fact that there are spa facilities at the hotel. You can swim in the pool, enjoy a soak in the hot tub, or enjoy using all of the exercise equipment in the fitness centre.

The hotel's location in scenic Ardmore is perfect for getting away from it all according to guests. You can bask in the natural beauty of the grounds and the surrounding area without being disturbed by big city noises or crowds.

Guests all agree that the hotel has very efficient staff members, both in the hotel area and in the restaurant. You can expect each of your needs to be tended to quickly. Guests were especially impressed at not having to wait long for food, even when the restaurant area was busy.

Many guests said that parts of the fitness centre seem to be closed for maintenance frequently. Some of the equipment also needs to be updated, repaired, or entirely replaced. Guests also mentioned that  areas that were still open could have used some maintenance, including the hot tub, which wasn't always clean or heated properly.

Several guests said that the bathrooms seem small and outdated. Problems with water pressure occur frequently, and the bathrooms are also not always cleaned thoroughly.

There is misleading advertising regarding the hotel's pet policy. Pets are allowed to stay on the grounds free of charge, but in a secure area by the car park. They are not allowed to actually stay in the guest rooms, which most guests didn't realise until they were checking in.
