Bunk Boutique Hostel Galway (Galway, Ireland)

Bunk Boutique Hostel is conveniently located within walking distance to main attractions such as the Galway City Museum, the Spanish Arch and Galway Cathedral. Public transport is easily accessible with the train station and several local bus lines being few minutes' walk away. The shops, local restaurants and bars, including those on Forster Street, are also a short walk away.

Guests were pleased with the decor, describing it as modern, trendy and funky. The rooms are well presented, comfortable and clean and include secure lockers. Guests wishing to self cater made use of the communal kitchen which was described as clean and well equipped. Despite being in the city center, the premises are quiet with no music from local venues.

The staff are available to provide assistance 24-hours a day and have been described as warm, friendly and helpful. Guests were made to feel welcome commented that they would be happy to return to Bunk Boutique Hostel again.

Some guests complained that there were not enough toilets to comfortable accommodate all the guests present. Other guests found it difficult to regulate the shower temperature which could be either too hot or too cold.

Although the hostel is in a quite location, some guests were disturbed by the noise of other guests, the sound of which travelled through the walls.

Various guests complained about problems with the booking process. In some instances guests arrived at the hostel to find that it was either overbooked or their reservations has not been registered and they were required to find alternative accommodation.
