The majority of previous guests have found the staff at the Remarc Guest House are pleasant and friendly. Five-star service is not on the cards here but it does seem that you can expect a warm welcome and for any queries or issues to be addressed promptly.
Luxury is off the table here but guests do tend to find the amenities useful. The shuttle service is an obvious bonus (although not available 24/7). Plus, the long-term parking option is handy, as is the free Wi-Fi (although some guests had trouble accessing the Internet).
Aside from the proximity of the airport, guests aren't that thrilled by the location of this guest house, commenting on the lack of shops and restaurants in the immediate area. It pays to remember that this is an airport stopover and little else.
Although the rooms are generally deemed acceptable, guests frequently mention that the showers in the en-suite bathrooms are terrible. Expect poor water pressure, broken shower heads and, at times, a complete lack of hot water.
Guests find that the traffic noise from the A120 is quite loud. Plus, you may well be able to hear planes. Internal soundproofing doesn't seem all that great either - a number of guests mention that they were able to hear people talking in the reception area.
