Guests appreciate the proximity to the Campo Marte train station as well as the fact that a lot of attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. For example, you can walk to the Piazza del Duomo, the Piazza della Repubblica, the Basilica di San Lorenzo and the Museo Nationale del Bargello in less than five minutes.
Guests found the rooms to be bright, clean, air-conditioned and loved the fact that they come with high-end toiletries.
The hotel boasts a rooftop terrace where breakfast and evening drinks are served, which allows guests to overlook the city of Florence, which makes for a unique start to your day.
While the hotel does, in fact, provide air-conditioning, it limits its usage to summer months. Several guests have complained that they were unable to cool their hot rooms because of this policy and when voicing this concern to the hotel staff, they were given fans that did not provide much relief.
Several guests found the breakfast to be quite disappointing given its price, as they reported that instead of serving only fresh foods the hotel opted for some canned fruits and concentrated fruit juices. The coffee also received less-than-stellar remarks as guests compared its taste to instant coffee, and they recommended showing up to eat early in the morning, because the hotel stops refilling items sooner than anticipated.
The hotel's central location is a bit annoying to some guests, as they complained about the noise emitted from nearby train station and the busy intersection in front of the hotel.
