Positive Reviews

Superb Temple Bar Location

Central to all the sights, this hotel is ideal for tourist exploration. Easy access to all modes of transport, walking distance to most cultural and historical attractions, restaurants and pubs. A serene spot in the middle of it all with extra sound proof window glazing; just use the complimentary in-room earplugs if you need them!

Sumptuous Rooms

Delectably decorated in rich, lavish furnishings, each author-inspired suite is unique. Nespresso machines, mini bars, fridges and DVDs. Additional pillows, fireplaces and safes as well as mineral water, lovely washing gels and heated floors in most bathrooms. Ask if your room will have the remote control skylight for another extra impressive feature.

Choose The Breakfast

Served until late in the morning, the breakfast is well worth the price. Excellent choices available including the full Irish, fresh fruits, cereal, pancakes and yogurts kept nicely replenished on the buffet. You'll be full until dinner!

Remarkable Staff

Punctual, polite and welcoming, the staff are exemplary perfection They won't hesitate to carry your luggage up the stairs and work hard to be sure of serving their guests.

Negative Reviews

No Lobby

Lack of a proper reception area feels strange to some, until you realize it really isn't necessary to the accommodations.

No Lift

Lots of stairs to some rooms with no lift, but the staff is more than willing to carry your heavier items and luggage up for you.

Noise For Some

Some rooms experience noisy footsteps above and loud voices from nearby residents outside the door Although signs are conspicuously posted requesting silence for evening guests, some have rudely overlooked them The location is within walking distance of several pubs; keep in mind, the lightest sleepers may need more than the complimentary ear plugs and extra window glazing Consider your personal needs before booking.
