Positive Reviews

Location is handy as well as interesting

Many visitors said very positive things about the hotel's setting, mostly because they enjoyed being within an easy stroll of both Union metro station and the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre. Reviewers approved of the area (Deira) too.

Rates are very agreeable

Virtually all of the reviewers who stayed at this the hotel gave its budget-friendly tariffs a thumbs-up. Returning guests who'd stayed here several years previous were surprised (and happy) to discover the hotel was committed to offering competitive rates.

No further advantages reported.

So far, no other recent positive opinion has been expressed by guests about this hotel.

Negative Reviews

Whole property needs upgrading

Reviewers said the hotel as a whole looks and feels very dated. Many guests suggested all of the building's interiors - including the accommodations - would benefit greatly from a comprehensive upgrade.

Hotel can be disturbingly noisy at night

The vast majority of people who stayed here complained about the noise generated by the hotel's late-night venues. Reviewers were up in arms about the banging music and associated rowdy behaviour that went on late in to the night.

Receptionists aren't the friendliest

Travellers weren't very happy about the service they received from the hotel's somewhat surly receptionist team. Dismissive comments and a generally unhelpful attitude were just a few of the service shortfalls reported.
