Positive Reviews

Extensive Breakfast Menu

The breakfast menu served at the B&B is extensive and delicious. They even offer a vegan option. You can order everything from a selection of yoghurts and breakfast cereals to smoked haddock and a mushroom omelet, and there are plenty of choices in between!

A Genuine Pleasant Owner

The B&B owner is pleasant and genuinely looks after your interest, for the most part. You will feel quite welcomed with the attentive service you receive. However, there have been complaints but for the most part, you will find a very lovely host.

Keep The Home Fires Burning

The cosy fire in the TV lounge during cold nights is enchanting. It creates a tranquil atmosphere coupled with the beautiful scenery.

Negative Reviews

Don't Do This, Don't Do That

There are a plethora of rules to follow that await you in a large binder in your room. There must have been some very rude visitors in the past to have to devise so many regulations!

Size Does Matter

The rooms are a bit small, but not cramped. The beds can be oddly arranged as well, with twin beds facing each other rather than side-by-side.

Noise Pollution

There is a severe noise problem at the facility between rooms. You may as well be on your neighbour's time schedule. You can hear when they arrive, take a shower, flush the toilet, you can even hear their alarm clock go off! This may not be disturbing to some; however, if you are sensitive to noise this could be a deal breaker.
