Positive Reviews

Lovely breakfast experience

Previous guests appreciated the freshly prepared breakfast which includes fresh fruits, bacon, and breads. The hosts even served some mint cookies and tea upon arrival. The wide selection of tasty breakfast food plus the free tour on the farm right after breakfast was a very satisfying experience for most guests.

Warm attitude of the hosts

Guests commend the extremely hospitable attitude of the hosts. They were more than ready to offer warm greetings upon check-in, and served welcome drinks and cookies. Moreover, they made everyone feel at home at their Irish guesthouse.

Handy location close to attractions in Donegal

The close proximity of the property to the Donegal Town has been very helpful for the guests. It is also closely situated to other major tourist spots within the area such as Slieve League Cliffs which is one of the best Irish attractions according to previous guests.

Negative Reviews

Incredibly small rooms

One of the most common negative comments from the guests was the small size of the rooms. They could not move around properly especially at the side of the beds due to the lack of enough space. There was also not much furniture provided, and the windows were quite big compared to the actual size of the rooms, so some guests felt like they were in a fish bowl due to the limited space.

Restricted bathroom space

Guests were also disappointed with the bathroom’s small space. It was quite hard for those who had large frames to function normally at the shower area such as bending and moving around due to the cramped space.

Terrible quality of beds

The mattresses were too soft according to most guests. Some beds also produced squeaky sounds when moving, so most guests had difficulty getting proper sleep.
