Positive Reviews

A comfortable stay in a spotless hotel

A recurring comment about this bed and breakfast is that the rooms are immaculately clean and very comfortable.  The refurbished interiors are modern and stylish while the common area and garden make this a lovely place to stay.

Kind, attentive staff

Guests have high praise for the staff here who get to know their guests and go out of their way to ensure that they enjoy their stay. They have loads of great recommendations about the local area as well so whatever you need they can help.

Well-fed guests

The breakfast here is top quality, served fresh every morning in generous portions that will keep you going until lunchtime. The full Irish is a particular favourite! Guests also really appreciate the tea and coffee making facilities and biscuit in their room ready for an afternoon break.

Negative Reviews

Too noisy for some

Several guests have commented on the noise levels being too high at this hotel. They feel that the walls are thin and some of the beds tend to creak which may be an issue for lighter sleepers.

Weak and temperamental Wi-Fi signal

Guests have had difficulty accessing and keeping the Wi-Fi signal, particularly in the rooms where it is very slow.

Not enough room for breakfast

Unfortunately as the dining room is small and can only fit ta few tables at a time guests have been disappointed at having to wait for others to finish before being able to get their breakfast.
