Positive Reviews

Breathtaking Views

Awed guests are stunned by the views from this guesthouse which they rave are absolutely stunning in every direction. Clamouring for rooms with views of Mt Brandon, they can’t resist taking a good deal of time simply staring at the picturesque and restful views, when they’re not out walking.

Cosy, Warm & Welcoming

Delighted guests say that their rooms at this guesthouse are luxuriously spacious, spotlessly clean, and supremely comfortable. The vast bathrooms too are wonderful, which include full baths and plenty of hot water. The only thing to rival this level of satisfaction is the food here, which is plentiful and absolutely scrumptious from the appetizers to the full breakfast –guests never miss an opportunity to indulge. They will be returning.

Friendly & Helpful

Grateful guests say that whether they turn up late, drenched by the rain or both, the staff at this guesthouse are immediately on top of making them feel at home, drying your clothes and warming you up as swiftly as possible. Kind and helpful guests say they are immediately happy to put themselves in their capable hands.

Negative Reviews

Avoid Maurice

Guests are wholesomely complaining about the occasional behaviour displayed by Maurice, one of the guesthouse owners. He is reported to be rolling into the pub intoxicated, and chasing our residents and locals alike in a most unpleasant and unprofessional manner. For some shocked guests, this has signalled an end to their visits to the pub, if not the establishment.
