This laid-back, all-inclusive resort overlooking Antigua's Dickenson Bay is set on a snow-white beach lined with lush green palms. Along with its idyllic Caribbean setting, Halcyon Cove By Rex Resorts boasts verdant gardens, live entertainment, and an outdoor pool.

Breezy guest rooms with tile floors provide balconies and seating areas with wicker chairs. Flat-screen TVs and mini-fridges are standard features too. Upgraded quarters offer bay views; suites have separate lounges.

Although most you won't likely be disturbed in your room, the interiors are generally quite outdated and in need of a complete renovation. The decor is quite old and some of the furniture is worn in places. An update in the interiors will give this hotel a better image and improve guest satisfaction rates.

Although most guests found their time at this hotel enjoyable, the on-site dining could do with improving. You might want to look elsewhere for quality food, as many guests did not quite enjoy their meal as much as they would have hoped.
