Positive Reviews

Proximity to both the beach and town.

De Paris is in the finest location providing access to both the attractions of the city and the enjoyment of the pier and beach. It is close to the historic Parish Church and many delightful shops can be visited all on foot. There is a seafront promenade

Rooms are clean and well equipped; sea view is a big plus.

All the rooms in the hotel have en suite bathroom. They are equipped with television and tea or coffee makers. Many of the rooms offer spectacular sea views, while some rooms overlook the town. The rooms are clean and quiet and the shower spray is powerfu

Good food, elegant decor, great staff.

The decor of the hotel is a bit dated but reminds of Victorian splendour and elegance with the sunlight flowing through the stained glass windows. The dining room is a pleasure to eat in with breathtaking view to accompany the food. Choice of food is exce

Negative Reviews

Warmer cover is required for the beds.

The beds are provided with blankets instead of duvets, which does not help keep warm.

Parking and Wi-Fi limited.

Parking is free but limited. The same is the case with Wi-Fi access which is available only in the reception area but not in the rooms.

Old building needing a revamp.

The hotel is dated and floor boards tend to creak. Windows on the top floor are not double glazed and hence the rooms get very cold.
