Positive about rooms, facilities and location.

Reviewers were generally positive about the rooms at this hotel, calling them comfortable, spacious and cleaned to a good standard. There was praise for the powerful showers, windows that opened and adjustable heating control. There was no elevator but a handful of ground floor rooms did have accessibility features, which some guests appreciated. Motorists liked the free parking on-site and the handy location for access to central Coventry, the M6 and A46.

This hotel belongs to a chain which promises guests a good night’s sleep and most reviewers felt this was delivered during their stay. Many liked the beds, describing them as fresh and comfortable, plus the choice of hard or soft pillows.

Negative Reviews

Some light sleepers bothered by noise.

Rooms on one side facing the road were reportedly exposed to traffic noise, which occasionally disturbed some light sleepers. Sometimes guests reported hearing sounds from adjacent rooms as well.

No air-conditioning.

Some visitors found the rooms were prone to getting rather warm in hot weather. This was not helped by a lack of air-conditioning, which some reviewers criticized the hotel for lacking. Staff were able to provide fans on request, however.

Mixed reports on food.

From time to time reviewers were underwhelmed by their dining experience at breakfast due to difficulties locating staff or encounters with dirty cutlery and crockery.
