Positive Reviews

Room hygiene maintained to a high standard

In terms of hygiene maintenance, the rooms were commended by many former guests of the Crawford House. The spacious rooms have often been labelled as spotlessly clean and tidy.

Conveniently situated for Cork

The location of the guest house, whilst admittedly not the most central, was regularly regarded as one of its best aspect by former visitors. Most attractions in Cork, such as the English Market and Saint Finn Barre's Cathedral, are within walking distance from the accommodation.

Free and ample parking provided

The parking situation was greatly appreciated by previous guests that visited the Crawford House in their own vehicle. It has been said that the accommodation supplies an ample amount of parking spaces to facilitate all potential visitors.

Negative Reviews

Noise a common problem

An issue that has plagued numerous stays at the Crawford House was noise. Past guests have stated that, along with the bothersome sound of passing traffic, the noise of others staying at the accommodation - mainly attributed to the apparently creaky floorboards - can be disruptive.

Unstable Wi-Fi with limited range

The Wi-Fi was often regarded as substandard by previous visitors to the guest house. Along with its range limited to effectively the public areas of the property, the general quality of the Wi-Fi was lambasted on occasion by those that used the facility.

Staff rarely available on-site

Various former visitors were left disappointed about the supposed lack of staff members available on-site at the Crawford House. Whilst they were regularly considered warm and friendly, the guest house's personnel were, at times, unavailable to help with things such as checking in and answering enquiries.
