Positive Reviews

Delicious and Extensive Breakfast

Guests were very pleased by the quality of the breakfast offered here. They said the foods were well cooked and presented in enticing ways. Furthermore, guests loved the plentiful portions because they felt filled up for hours afterwards.

The Owners Are Very Friendly

There were many reviews which talked about how the property owners were very welcoming and excited about helping guests feel like they were coming into second homes. Additionally, guests said their hosts were extremely informed and forthcoming with advice about how to best enjoy the area.

Close to the College

Many guests stayed here while they were attending events at University College Cork. They appreciated how this property was very convenient to the campus. There's also a bus that stops outside the college and guests liked how easy it was to use that service to get to the city centre when they weren't in the mood to make the 20-minute journey on foot.

Negative Reviews

Traffic Noise is Sometimes Audible

Some guests commented it was too easy to hear the sound of traffic when they were in their rooms. Usually, the problem was most evident in rooms that faced the street, so if you are very sensitive to vehicular sounds, it may be best to ask if you can have a room that's as far from the street as possible.

Trouble With Low Water Pressure in the Shower

There were occasional complaints that the water pressure in the shower was so insignificant that it was hard to bathe efficiently. Most guests weren't too bothered by this problem, but be aware showering may not be a quick task.

The Rooms Are Very Basic

From time to time, guests complained the rooms were too sparse for what they paid. Specifically, some guests mentioned they would have appreciated drinking glasses and more storage stage
