Added to this, the neighbourhood is quiet and the streets are pedestrian friendly. Guests also say that there are plenty of car parks close to the hotel which they found convenient.

Helpful staff

The staff of the inn is friendly and accommodate early Check-ins. They made it convenient for guests returning after closing hours to enter the inn from a separate side gate and providing them a key to the door. So guests say that they did not have a problem entering the inn after following the instructions.

Suited for overnight stops

Most guests say that the inn is suitable for an overnight stop in Cirencester. They enjoyed the food and drink at the pub of the inn and found them to be of an exceptional standard. The wholesome food comprised of fresh local ingredients.

Negative Reviews

Poor lighting and dated plugs

Many guests say that the lighting in the rooms is subdued and minimal. The bedside lamp switches are a struggle to switch on and off. Most of the electric plugs are very old and hence do not work.

Not professionally run

Some guests feel that the inn is run in an amateurish way. The bathmats are folded even when wet.  The bedroom window of the room on the first floor was left open by cleaners and guests felt anyone could have gained access to the room from the flat first storey roof.

Badly maintained

The inn is badly maintained with stair carpets filthy and the room carpets threadbare and badly stained. Bed sheets and pillow covers have stains. There are huge damp patches around and guests say they are afraid to turn on the lights.
