There are quite a few goods with The George. It's a good value that has good parking. The beer and food choices are good. The best "good" feature is the location in Chepstow a town which is also close to Briston and Newport and is a good stopping point fo

Great staff on hand.

The staff, both the wait staff and management of the hotel, are very eager to please and work hard to provide quality customer service. The friendly and helpful attitude compensate when concerns and complaints arise.

It's a social experience.

The pub is very popular with locals and the crowd inside doesn't allow for strangers. The welcoming and friendly attitude will soon have you feeling like a local and taking part in the games and party atmosphere.

Tired bath quarters.

While the rooms are modernly appointed, the bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. Although they are clean and functional, they are lacking the amenities and features that are commonly provided by other 3-star and chain hotels.

A pumping pub.

The pub is popular, which means a really busy atmosphere. On the weekends, the crowd noise and live music are pumping and the noise can sometimes be heard in the rooms.
