The Hôtel Mont-Blanc Hotel in the centre of Chamonix’s city centre offers a luxury hotel experience in the heart of the French Alps.

Rooms have been styled inspired by the mountain atmosphere and range from standard rooms to premier suites. Common to each room is a flat screen TV, minibar, in-room safe and luxury bathroom accessories.

Wi-Fi is complimentary and there is an on-site spa offering a range of relaxing treatments. Guests also have exclusive use of the heated outside pool, hot tub and fitness centre.

Le Matafan, the on-site restaurant prides itself of serving fresh local and international dishes and there are also a plethora of restaurants and bars within a five minute walk of the hotel.

The Aiguille du Midi cable car is a ten minute walk from the Hôtel Mont-Blanc hotel and the local bus station which will ferry passengers to the main ski fields and a multiple of outdoor pursuits is 75 metres from the hotel.

Amazing Mountain Setting

The Chamonix valley is impressive with it sheer cliffs and soaring mountains on either side and it is these features that many guests came to enjoy. Across most reviews the mountain atmosphere and the activities that guests undertook were the highlight of guests reviews with the hotel's central location featuring prominently.

Excellent Concierge

A number of guests who requested help to arrange day trips, taxi, transfers and other services in and around Chamonix appreciated the service and help provided by the hotel's concierge and this was reflected in their reviews.

Excellent food

The food at the on-site restaurant rated very highly across a number of reviews with many comments positively remarking about the delcious menu and service. Other reviews also mentioned how convenient all of Chamonix's restaurants and bars are to the hotel given its central town location.

Negative Reviews

Hot in Summer

A number of negative comments about the hotel were that there was no air-conditioning which was a problem for some guests during the summer months. The hotel has made it clear to guests in reviews responses that as the hotel is an historic property they are unable to fit air-conditioning units.

Limited Room Service

Some guests choosing to stay in their rooms to eat made a few comments that they felt that the room service menu was a little limited and expensive for what was available.

First Impressions Linger

Some guests made comment on the level of staffing at reception to the hotel with some reviews specifically focusing on the fact that there was, at any given time, one person on reception to handle the number of enquires from visitors. Some felt that their wait to be attended to was not acceptable.
