Positive Reviews

There’s Plenty Of Action

The hostel is definitely a place for fun if you’re up to it. The craft market or Green Market Square is great for checking-out cultural wares and meeting locals. The bus route makes it easy to get around. Uber is also available for a reasonable price to most locations and a grocery store is close. If you like sightseeing, the Capetown walking tours starting point is not far.

Keycard Security

The keycard system is cool. When you use it to get into your room, your designated bed has a special light that illuminates. Your keycard gives you access to your private locker located under your bunk bed as well. It’s convenient having your things secured, especially since you will most likely be rooming with strangers.

The Wi-Fi Is A Winner!

It’s a dream come true, the Wi-Fi works flawlessly! It’s an Internet user’s dream when travelling.

Negative Reviews

It's A Noisy Place

Boy, can this place get noisy. Notwithstanding the hostel disco that blasts music late on Saturdays. Which comes to another issue. The soundproofing is poor, so if you’re looking for a place that offers tranquillity and quiet nights, this may not be the place for you.

There Are A Few Discomforts

When showering you’re basically left holding the soap, as there is no soap holder. The bunk beds are too high with no safety rail. There’s no communal kitchen for cooking your own meals. In addition, the hostel hosts numerous events that are sort of “cliquish.” Private rooms lack sufficient amenities, and the pods are full of dust. They need a good cleaning.

It Gets Too Hot!

The room gets incredibly hot, which makes everything else uncomfortable. The air circulation is poor, there’s no fan, and the window is tiny.
