Grupotel Mallorca Mar is a family-friendly, apartment-style hotel, located in one of the most exclusive areas of the island.

The units come in studios, one- or two-bedroom apartments. They all come equipped with contemporary designs, a sofa bed, air conditioning and two satellite TVs. The kitchens contain a microwave and refrigerator.

Grupotel Mallorca Mar offers massage and Turkish steam baths at its in-house spa facility. There are two outdoor pools, evening programmes for adults, whirlpools and a children’s water park.

Dine at the buffet restaurant to enjoy Mallorcan and Spanish cuisine. Evening galas are held once every week. For something more casual, have a cocktail at the Lounge Bar by the pool.

Situated right on the seafront of Cala Bona, guests don’t have to walk far to get to the shores. The ferry service back to mainland is located about 50 kilometres away.

The grounds surrounding and within the Grupotel Mallorca Mar get good reviews. The pool areas in particular receive appreciative reviews, as they are apparently kept clean and in good order. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a hot tub, and guests find all to be kept in proper condition.

Easy to walk to port area

Guests appreciate the location of this destination. Specifically, they note the ease at which they can reach the marina and port area. The marina is only a five-minute walk, ensuring that most guests can reach the area on foot with little difficulty.

Stellar staff

Guests to this location appreciate the quality of the staff. Guests seem to almost unanimously agree that the staff work hard and always stay pleasant. They don't produce any “attitude” directed at guests.

Negative Reviews

Entertainment a little too focused

While guests appreciate that there is regular entertainment available, numerous guests do note that the entertainment is virtually all in German, and thus caters to German-speaking guests. Additionally, while the staff get good reviews overall and are appreciated for their good attitudes, it is reported that most of the staff speak primarily German and Spanish.

Wi-Fi poor

It seems the Wi-Fi Internet access at Grupotel Mallorca Mar is a great letdown at this location. It's reportedly only available in the reception, and even then, speeds are disappointing. It seems that it's difficult to retain a stable connection for more than a few minutes, at least during peak times when the network is swamped.

Can be loud

While guests note this is a family friendly location, this comes at a cost: Guests also report that the prevalence of children on the property creates a lot of noise.
