Positive Reviews

The Food is Incredible

Guests loved the quality of the food here, and praised it for being well cooked, fresh and flavourful. Guests who had to leave early liked how the staff provided them with delicious packed meals so they wouldn't feel hungry at the start of their days.

Extraordinarily Attentive Staff Members

Guests were pleasantly surprised by how warmly they were greeted at this family-run establishment. They reported that nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff members, and that the hosts went far out of their way to make everyone feel right at home.

Close to the Ferry Port

Guests often chose to stay at this property due to its proximity to the ferry port. Some even remarked that it was such a well equipped place and offered a great standard of service, so they'd be sure to stay here again for all future ferry-related journeys.

Negative Reviews

Minor Noise Problems

Guests mentioned that there were some small issues with noise, either from the busy road and passing traffic, or the sounds of guests in the corridors that had to leave early to catch the ferry. However, guests usually were able to adjust to the noises without hassles.

Some Guests Didn't Get Preferred Rooms

Guests warned that this property is so popular, you'll need to book early to avoid disappointment. Since the establishment is small, guests were sometimes not able to get the en-suite rooms they wanted, but remarked that the fault was their own, because they waited too long to finalise the accommodation choice by making a booking.

Rooms Are Small

From time to time, guests remarked that the rooms, and especially the en suites, felt cramped. However, most said this was a very minor concern they could easily live with.
