About The Anglesey Arms

Set into the wall of the ancient Caernarfon Castle overlooking the harbour, the Anglesey Arms offers free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, pub and a full complimentary Welsh breakfast.

The traditional rooms and suites include, flat-screen television and tea and coffee making facilities. Some feature views of the harbour.

The inn is attached to Caernarfon Castle, a breathtaking surviving historical landmark which served as the royal palace and military fortress for Edward I. It is a short walk to the ruins of the Caernarfon town walls and the Ancient Roman Segontium.

Helpful staff.

The Anglesey Arms bed and breakfast staff is very friendly and helpful. They are committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible. Previous guests reported that the staff will make you feel right at home. The staff is more than happy to accommodate all of your travel needs.

Excellent food.

The lively downstairs pub offers delicious Welsh cuisine and live musical entertainment. There is a wide range of options for all travellers. Breakfast is delicious and can be served to you directly at your room door. The pub offers large portions made with local produce. Guests can enjoy fresh seafood overlooking the seafront. There is an expansive selection of Cask Ales, fine wines and non-alcoholic drinks to pair your meal. Every dessert purchased is donated to the inn’s sponsored charity.

Amazing views.

The bed and breakfast is centrally located and offers spectacular views of the Castle and coastline. You are just steps from the rocky harbour, providing gorgeous views of the Menai Strait and Snowdonia Mountain. Guest will travel through time, absorbing the spectacular landscape through a historical perspective while enjoying true Welsh hospitality.

Negative Reviews

Some descriptions not clear when booking.

Some guests were unclear about en suite bathroom set ups during their booking. Rooms include a shared bathroom with two other rooms. However, the bathrooms are in immaculate condition.

Noise from pub.

According to reviews, guests may hear noise from outside revellers in the bar and patio area late at night. Live pub music and entertainment may also echo into the rooms.

Poor Wi-Fi connection.

Many guests reported that they were unable to connect to the complimentary Wi-Fi service.
