Positive Reviews

Historic and picturesque atmosphere

Guests are thrilled with the idea of staying in an old monastery turned modern hotel. They admire the beautiful Baroque structural design and Gregorian chants playing in the building that brings more character to the hotel and helps set the mood for a picture-perfect moment.

Highly attentive staffs

Most guests speaks well of the staff for being extremely helpful and attentive. They help set a good vibe for guests and offers service which is beyond compare. The welcoming staff also assists in suggesting good places to visit for guests.

Set on a strategic spot in central Cadiz

This great historic building is nicely positioned near the central train station where every important establishment, from restaurants to tourist spots, is easily accessible even without a car. Guests enjoy going from one place to another by foot, for it saves them all the trouble in finding parking spaces and paying parking fees.

Negative Reviews

Poor soundproofing of rooms

The walls inside the rooms are quite thin and seem frail. Some guests are bothered by the noise coming from other rooms such as loud chatting, plumbing noises, and stroke of a church bell. The sound is easily absorbed from one room to another which makes it quite difficult for some guests to sleep.

Insufficient breakfast facilities

Some guests are quite uncomfortable for not having enough coffee and tea making facilities available in the hotel. Coffee served in the on-site restaurant takes some time to prepare because of having only one coffee machine serving a long line of guests.

Awfully unpleasant smell from the drain

Most guests are uncomfortable with the bad smell coming from the drain or poor plumbing inside the restrooms. It is impossible to stay longer in the shower due to the unbearable scent which lingers in the air.
