About Causeway Tavern B&B

A simple country pub with six rooms above, Causeway Tavern B&B offers a combination of double, triple, and family rooms. It is three miles from the incredible Giant's Causeway, consisting of massive basalt columns arranged in a way that makes it hard to believe it's not man-made.

All the rooms at this little property boast private bathroom facilities. Additional in-room amenities include flat-screen TVs and hospitality trays with tea, coffee, and cookies.

Staff at the downstairs pub check guests in and can assist by providing the low-down on this beautiful part of Northern Island.

A comprehensive breakfast, including the full Irish cooked meal and lighter continental fare, can be enjoyed for an additional fee. The pub also serves the other two meals, along with a range of drinks. Weekends typically feature live musical entertainment.

The ruins of Dunluce Castle, an evocative site with commanding sea views, is a ten-minute drive from Causeway Tavern B&B. Seaside Bushfoot Golf Club is four miles away.

Positive Reviews

Amazing breakfast

Amongst the many reviews regarding the food served in the B & B its clear they serve a very good breakfast. The reviews all state you have a very large choice of food, cooked and continental to set you up for the day.

Perfect location for sightseeing

The B & B is set in the heart of North county Antrim. Those who have stayed here to visit landmarks and other sights have said its perfectly located. Plenty of walks to do and great views.

Very welcoming staff

The B & B is ran by a family who are very welcoming to all of their guests. They are highly rated. Previous guests who have stayed have said they will happily give you any information you need about the local area and also an idea of things to do.

Negative Reviews

Old fashioned decor

There are many reviews about the interior of the B & B and bar. They have mentioned how dated it has become and its in need of a revamp.

Needed to drive to get some dinner

The B & B is set in a small Hamlet just outside of Bushmills. The pub does not offer food other than breakfast so those wanting to eat out need to either drive or get a taxi. It would be at least a five mile walk to get to the nearest place.

Wi-Fi signal not good at all

The Wi-Fi is poor unfortunately. Guests needing a signal have really struggled as apparently there is only one spot in the bar that gets a good enough signal to get onto the internet.
