Positive Reviews

Idyllic location.

Guests loved the peaceful setting of The Swan Inn. With chickens running around in the yard, sheep in the fields, and the river meandering by, you might think you stepped into an English countryside painting. Guests found plenty of opportunity for local walks, including to nearby villages where it seemed like time had stood still.

Lip-smacking dinners.

Bring your appetite for the much talked about evening meals. Whether in the bar or restaurant, guests were treated to a mouthwatering selection of food that they highly recommended. From 28 day aged beef, fresh fish brought in daily, and local ales from the Cotswold Brewing Company, you can't go wrong here.

Comfortable rooms.

There was nothing to complain about with large bedrooms and a bed that guests said was just the thing for sweet dreams. A cosy king-size mattress with luxurious linens means you might sleep through breakfast.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast might be an ordinary affair.

While other meals at The Swan Inn were something to write home about, guests weren't as enamoured with the included breakfast. Some guests wished for a better selection, and special touches like fresh berries.

Service not always up to par.

Several guests of this bed and breakfast described warm and inviting customer service. Unfortunately, other guests weren't as complimentary, and complained of unfriendly restaurant and front desk staff that made guests feel unwelcome.

Get ready to splurge.

Some guests thought that while meals were well-made, the price tag was a little hard to swallow. You can expect to pay top dollar for the quality and ambiance The Swan Inn offers.
